Here Are Our Official Top Ten Punjabi Songs of May 2026

We listened. We debated. We ranked. After spending time with dozens of releases this year, we are confident in saying these are the ten best Punjabi songs released in May of 2026 so far. Here is our definitive list, from number ten all the way to number one.

Number Ten: Risk by Jazzy B and Lillxjb

It is cool to see a father and son collaborating on a track together, especially when that father is a legend like Jazzy B. Risk represents something bigger than just a song. It is a generational moment. Lillxjb has been grinding independently for a minute, building his own sound and his own lane. But on Risk, he steps into Punjabi for the first time with his father, and the chemistry is there from the first second. The production is smooth. The writing is solid. And what matters most is the message it sends. This is what happens when an OG steps back to let the younger generation lead. Risk does not need to be the most fire track of the year to deserve respect. What it represents is enough. But honestly, the track itself is fire too.

Number Nine: IDC by Param

Param stepping out of her comfort zone is always worth paying attention to. IDC is a really unique track, and the visuals match that energy. The song is bright. It is different. And it shows that Param is not afraid to try something new. This collaboration with Sickboi brings another layer to the project, and what stands out is how consistent Param has been with dropping singles. This song deserves way more attention than it is getting right now, and it definitely did not fly under our radar.

Number Eight: CEO by Cheema Y

The beat on CEO is nasty. Period. When we ranked the Bermuda Triangle album, we put this at number four or five. Looking back, it deserved to be higher. The production is hypnotic. The way Cheema flows on this track is effortless. The introduction alone sets you up for what is coming. And the fact that this song has been picking up crazy on Reels and TikTok shows that the world is starting to catch up to what we already knew. CEO is fire and it continues to prove why Cheema Y is one of the strongest writers in the scene right now.

Number Seven: Locket by BK feat. Jasmine Akhtar

This is BK’s first duet with female vocalist Jasmine Akhtar and it is super fire. The beat is nasty. BK has been consistently dropping bangers back to back, and this one is no different. Whether it is for the boys or for the girls, BK is delivering. This song is really underrated and it definitely deserves more love than it is getting. The chemistry between BK and Jasmine is undeniable, and the production just hits different on this one.

Number Six: Khair by Nirvair Pannu

The songwriting on Khair is unbelievable. Nirvair Pannu has created something special here. This is a sad song, but that is exactly what makes it beautiful. It heals your emotions. It touches your heart in a way that only the best music can. This is the highlight of the album in our opinion. When you are alone and you put this on, it brings tears to your eyes. That is the power of real songwriting. That is vulnerability wrapped in production that respects the moment. Khair is not a song that tries to be anything other than what it is: a deeply emotional, deeply human moment captured in music. This is the kind of song that stays with you long after it ends.

Number Five: Nazar by Chani Nattan, Inderpal Moga, and Zain Zohaib

When two Punjabs come together on one song, magic happens. Nazar is a qawwali inspired romantic track that works because nobody is trying to force it into a trend. It is rooted. Inderpal Moga from Punjab India. Zain Zohaib from Punjab Pakistan. Chani Nattan writing the whole thing. This is a cross border collaboration that means something. The production from Ezu gives it room to breathe, and both singers bring a warmth that you just cannot fake. The music video, directed by Mexi, is beautiful and cinematic. This is a song that represents something bigger than just music.

Number Four: Born Winner by AP Dhillon, FRVRFriday, and Joe Gez

Born Winner is really underrated right now and it deserves way more attention. This is Canada Soccer’s World Cup anthem, and it hits different because it represents what Canada actually sounds like. English. French. Punjabi. All in one song. AP Dhillon comes in halfway through the track, and when he does, he elevates everything. He is pushing boundaries consistently, and songs like this show his commitment to developing his sound internationally. Some people have criticized AP for leaving his original sound, but what he is doing is transitioning. He understands that growth means moving forward, and Born Winner is proof that he is not giving up on what made him special. He is just evolving it for a global audience.

Number Three: Me Vs Me by Arjan Dhillon

Arguably one of our favorite songs of the month. The beat on Me Versus Me is nasty. Arjan’s writing is top tier. He is going back and forth with himself, talking about the only battle that matters, the one happening inside. The only person he has to fight in his life is himself. The only opponent worth mentioning is his own mind. There are no visuals for this one, which hurts it a little bit, but the song itself is so fire that it does not need them. This is introspective hip hop done right. This is vulnerability wrapped in hard production. This is why we put Arjan’s Enigma album so high on our list.

Number Two: Jackpot by Cheema Y

Jackpot has been stuck on repeat. It has been stuck in our head. Cheema goes bar for bar throughout the entire song, rhyming the same word at the end of each bar, and it should not work as well as it does. That is the mark of a strong writer. That is wordplay at its finest. Super creative. Super different. Really tough way to write. It is really good to see an artist challenging himself like this, pushing what is possible with lyricism and structure. Jackpot is Cheema Y proving once again why he is one of the most talented writers in the scene

Number One: One Call Away by Arjan Dhillon feat. Jazzy B

This collaboration is feeding families right now. The beat is nasty. The electric guitar is nasty. The writing is cool. The visuals are unbelievable. One Call Away is the complete package. This song gets stuck on repeat. It is all over our page. It is all over yours. And we do not expect it to go anywhere. This is one of the top songs of the year, and honestly, it might be one of the top songs we have heard in a long time. Arjan and Jazzy B together is a moment. Director Mani Malhi brought a vision that feels modern, futuristic, and completely unique. This is what happens when artists are willing to take risks and try something new. This is what happens when legends and rising stars align. One Call Away is not just a song. It is a statement. And it deserves all the love and attention it is getting and then some.
